Crossword puzzles get jumbled today with the release of Regolith Games' KrissX on Xbox Live Arcade, because inside-out crosswords are wiggity wiggity wiggity whack, or so I've heard.
KrissX, pronounced Kriss Cross, or Kriss Kross, is a relaxing little game for the Xbox Live Arcade and PC, featuring 150 levels of crossword puzzles. The trick here is, the crossword puzzles are already filled-out, and the words are scrambled. Swap the words about so they match the clues, and you're well on your way to becoming... good at this sort of thing.
"Regolith have created a charming game with KrissX. I've found that its soothing and progressive gameplay gently lures you in and will literally keep players entertained for hours!" says Chris Swan, Blitz Arcade's Business Development Manager. "Likewise I'm delighted that we have a high profile company such as Konami partnering with us for the XBLA version of KrissX, so that they could lend their expertise to the project."
To get an idea of what the game is like, check out a sample level on Facebook. If you like what you see, then by all means, start it up, Kriss.
