THQ and the Sci-Fi Channel (I refuse to call them Syfy) announced last week a new deal where the two companies will cooperate on various ventures. One of them is a cartoon based on de Blob.
Sci-Fi will soon be launching a "kids brand" aimed at little ones, and the colorful blobs - created by some students from Utrecht in the Netherands (while THQ's game is made in Melbourne by Blue Tongue - AU Ed.) - will be kicking things off, with shows to be broadcast both online and on TV.
The partnership will also result in the two companies cooperating on the development of new intellectual property, along with the possibility of TV adaptations of some of THQ's video game properties.
