Microsoft has unlocked the Forza Motorsport 3 downloadable content previous exclusive to new copies of the game, and developer Turn 10 have unlocked their hearts, donating $US10 towards earthquake relief in Haiti for every VIP Membership Car Pack sold.
The Sidewinder Proving Grounds Track Pack, Benchmark High Speed Ring Track Pack, and Motorsport Legends Car Pack are all available for purchase in the Xbox Live Marketplace at 400 Microsoft points apiece, but the VIP Membership Car Pack is where the real action is. The VIP pack, which runs 800 Microsoft points, gives players access to the 2008 Aston Martin DBS, 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, 2007 Ferrari F430 Scuderia, 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, and 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Players will also gain special recognition on scoreboards, in multiplayer lobbies, and in the auction house, where their sales will receive priority over non-VIPs.
More importantly, however, is that Turn 10 is donating $US10 for every VIP pack sold to Save the Children's relief efforts in Haiti, up to $US100,000. Fans who received the pack free via the limited collector's edition of the game can simply go to the Save the Children website and donate directly.
