Remember those reaction-based races from Battletoads? Hippolyta is an ancient Greece-inspired browser game in the same vein.
WASD will have you speeding up, slowing down, jumping and ducking to avoid obstacles, and space will throw spears at enemies. It’s all about hitting the right button at the right time, and it’s quite challenging due to the speed in which obstacles come at you from the right.
A rather out of place Russian accent provides the narrative of your daring escape, and it’s worth playing even if just to see how many variations of “No, no, that’s not how the story went…” they’ve recorded.
