WIN! BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger PS3 And Arcade Stick

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is the latest 2D fighting game from Guilty Gear makers Arc System Works. It sees its long-awaited Aussie release next week. How’d you like to win it – and an arcade stick – on PS3?

Thanks to our friends at All Interactive Entertainment, we have FIVE copies of the BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger arcade stick bundle for PlayStation 3 up for grabs. That’s right, that’s a copy of the game on PS3 and an arcade stick in the one box.

See, it’s right there, on the left.

So how do you enter?

We want you to think blue. (No, not that kind of blue, Roy & HG fans. We’re talking about the colour blue.) We want you to send us a photo of yourself surrounded by blue stuff. As much blue stuff as possible. Interesting, quirky, clever, funny blue stuff.

If that makes no sense whatsoever, our Kotaku US colleagues ran a similar comp for Red Faction: Guerrilla. You can see their winning entries here.

Couple of things: one, no Photoshopping allowed; two, your photo must have the Kotaku logo somewhere in it. And as usual, no multiple entries please.

Send your pic to the usual address, preferably in jpeg format and no wider than 1000 pixels. You’ve got until midnight Wednesday, March 24 to get your entry in. And the game launches the following day.

Good luck!

      • Oddly enough, just reading this comment gave me an idea… and it has nothing to do with Cookie Monster, but it’s Blue related!

Now I just need to find the thing in question…

    • *Sigh* For two reasons! *Sigh 1* No photoshopping!! But he’s my one furry pic, I contort his arms and face, but otherwise its my one lucky (debatable) stock photo!
*sigh 2* It was just too obvious 🙁 So I’m gonna not enter this comp. Well, maybe I will…

Dang that no photoshopping rule, David you’ve ruined all the fun! 😛

Oh wait, so can I use MS Paint instead?

      • So what if I find the ideal “blue” background while walking around the city and get someone to take a photo of me surrounded by it… I am supposed to carry around a printout of the Kotaku logo with me?

Perhaps you should have asked why I asked that question first instead of being a smart ass. I can read, hence why my question only referred to photoshopping the Kotaku logo in – valid question in MOST people’s books.

        • jeezus Dans, you can be such an angry young man.

Ever heard of “ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer?”

No photoshop means no photoshop, including the logo – the best you can do is take it literally.

Plenty of other people have printed a kotaku logo, no matter how small, and had it with them in a picture. It doesn’t take much to fold a piece of paper and put it in your wallet so don’t make it sound like such a burden..

          Oh, and breathe dude… Breathe…

    • @Cooliocopter

Meh, at least PS3 version doesn’t get controller plates like the 360 version. Which is kind of funny, since it is the 360 version that needs much more help with the controls then the PS3 version does (since the 360 D-Pad sucks). Either way, I don’t know if they are ‘cheap’ (see below, looks alright), but the Arcade Stick is definately smaller then normal.

  • oh my god, i bought this game for 40 bucks last year from overseas. when it comes out here im going to hand it in to ebgames nad get at least 60 for it since it will be a new release.

    fuuuuuuuck yeah
