WIN! Early Access To The Lost Planet 2 PS3 Demo

A second Lost Planet 2 demo hits the PlayStation Network on April 22. But you could be playing it as soon as this Thursday, if you're clever enough to win one of the early access codes we have to give away.

The new demo showcases 16-player versus mode across a map called Turbulent Jungle, pictured up there and also down there. It supports in-game chat and result stats, too.

We have FIFTEEN PlayStation 3 download codes up for grabs for the Kotaku readers who can suggest the best Lost Planet related songs to be found on a Snow Pirate's iPod, or indeed any other portable media device.

Leave your track choice in the comments below. If I like yours, I'll reply to your comment and then email or Facebook you a code. So please include your correct contact details! And, as usual, no multiple entries please.

Anyone who suggests "Ice Ice Baby" or "Cold As Ice" will not win. Get creative!

Remember, these codes are for the PS3 only. The Lost Planet 2 demo hits Xbox Live on April 21, but we have no codes for it.

UPDATE: I've picked out ten winners so far (see comments). That means there are just five codes left. Hurry! All fifteen winners have now been chosen (see comments). You'll contacted shortly.

Tropical Ice-Land by the Fiery Furnaces

How could I forget about that song! From arguably my favourite band also!!!

Haha, I thought the song was quite fitting with Lost Planet 2's theme. Not to mention its a really catchy song.

Winner! I’ll send you the code tomorrow.

        Cheers David!

Will definitely be playing this over the Easter weekend.

REM - It's the end of the world as we know it

    Real Answer
    "Space Dementia" - Muse

First song that popped into my head though...
"Cold Day In The Sun" - Foo Fighters

while playing the first i always got
"Snow Patrol" by Alpinestars stuck in my head.
They also have that mechanical sounding noise at the start which could be a VS starting up.

If you want blood (You've got it) - AC/DC

Rock you like a Hurricane - Scorpions

"Bungle in the Jungle";by Jethro Tull

Winner! I'll send you the code tomorrow.

The Monster Is Loose- Meatloaf- Bat Out of Hell III

    AC/DC's Black Ice.

    Artist: Laine Frankie
Song: Cry of the Wild Goose
Album: The Best of Frankie Laine

"My heart knows what the wild goose knows,
I must go where the wild goose goes."
... and I will cry if i don't get those codes!

      Lucky last winner!

Dragonforce - Through the Fire and Flames

Nothing like cheesy 80's nightmarishly-fast guitar solos to get the trigger finger tingling like a ferret on ecstacy. That and it's a suitable backing track for kicking some serious ass.

Plus as an added bonus; if they're avid gamers it'll help em memorise the Guitar Hero III tune, so they're one step closer to being one of those 'ZOMG DRAGONFORCE THRUF&F 100% EXPERT' posters on youtube ;)

    (yeah... I'm just jealous :))

Ice flow song - The Mighty Boosh, its not very long but i think it goes great with lost planet.

We were Soldiers - Sgt.MacKenzie. To remind the Snow Pirate that he is not alone and he goes to 'Where before many more have gone'

(going through a bagpipe phase atm)

Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash. Gotta listen to something that'll keep 'em warm. ;D

      Third winner here.

    Love Like Winter - AFI

Welcome To The Jungle - Guns N' Roses

    ACDC - Shoot to thrill

I said, shoot to thrill, play to kill
I got my gun at the ready, gonna fire at will
'Cause I shoot to thrill, and I'm ready to kill
And I can't get enough, and I can't get my thrill

      Fourth winner.

    Inertia Creeps by Massive Attack

    crying - roy orbison

Gaurd Your Grill - Naughty By Nature

    "Guard your grill, knuckle up
I ain't the type to give up
    Guard your grill, knuckle up
I smoke first, so what's up
    Guard your grill, knuckle up
Put em up, you ain't tough
    Guard your grill, knuckle up!"

    airwolf extended version theme :)

    "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin

Hi, I pick the song called Ice Cream Paint Job by Dorrough. Thanks.

"Spider" by They Might Be Giants.

Lyrics such as the following are apt:
    "Get rid of Spider
    Must stop Spider"

(But I'll ignore the other lyrics such as "We love you spider" and "I promise not to kill you") :)

    "Snowballed" by AC/DC

a trendy yet melancholic cowboy snow pirate would definitely listen to beck - cold brains.
