Milla Jovovich All Set (And Totally Wet) In First Resident Evil Afterlife Images

Set photos for the upcoming Resident Evil: Afterlife film have already made their way to the internet. But not production stills of the survival horror film. Until now.

Loosely based on Capcom's horror series by the same name, Resident Evil: Afterlife's official plot summary reads like this:

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

Joining the series is actor Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield. Starring Milla Jovovich and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, Resident Evil: Afterlife will be out this September. It will be in 3D like pretty much every other movie these days.

    Wesker! Sweet!

No, not sweet! These movies fail at eveything resident evil. They should have just called the series 'Mila vs the zombies' and everyone would have liked it more.

1st was a homage 2nd was good the 3rd just shat on it all

In some defence though, i believe this film in terms of 3D may be a lot better than more recent and upcoming films like Clash of the Titans which added it AFTER production to cash in on the more expensive tickets.

But the director was talking 3D before Avatar was released and before everyone was going nuts over 3D last year.

So in that defence, I believe the 3D may be used quite properly. Although i can't speak for how the film itself will turn out after seeing the others.

At what point would 3D become the norm where it's no longer added to titles and is just assumed?

Hopefully only when they are actually filming them all for 3D, and don't film in 2D and give them the god aweful post production 3D treatment.

Resident Evil movies still make money?

Yes, so long as they continue to have the gratuitious naked/butt shot of Milla they do.
