argh, damnit, i KNOW what this one is, they did a Let’s Play on it but I can’t remember the title! Atari Classics perhaps?
I’m thinking Wizard of Wor? The hours of intense strobing when you died still gives me Lost style flashbacks.
Well I’m impressed. That screen shot has some of the most primitive graphics from the Atari 2600 era that I have ever seen.
I owned a very primitive Hanimex catridge based console before my Atari 2600, and even it would have hung its head in shame producing that screen.
And no – I don’t recognise the game.
By the way, Adventure was a great game for the time – even if the main character was a small coloured rectangle wandering around weird colourful rooms dodging bats, and fighting dragons that looked like ducks.
Looks like some sort of maze game with water/blue lava/something that’s rising to kill you if you’re too slow?
Atari 2600 games always scare people away 🙁
