Sega Brings Two More Arcade 'Hits' To Wii

Lightgun fans, rejoice. Sega is adding to the arcade nostalgia for Wii owners - which is already home to its Ghost Squad and The House of the Dead 2 & 3 games - with two arcade shoot 'em ups you might remember.

It looks like Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns, two big, brash shooters from the mid-1990s are coming to the Wii as the Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack, a new game outed by the ESRB today. Those two games put players behind the sights of, as you can probably guess, machine guns to take out a terrorist robot threat as they're flown around New York and Los Angeles. They're quite fun.

The only catch is that both games were memorable for their violent vibration and oversized gun controllers, an experience that may not transfer as well to the Wii Remote or Zapper. But if they're budget priced and faithful to their arcade counterparts, they're still going to be a hell of a lot of fun.

I LOVED this game when it was in arcades - hell it still is in some places!

Only problem, as mentioned, i loved it for it's violent rumbling and gun-bigger-than-i features. Playing this game on Wii just wouldn't be anywhere near as fun - Yet once again as mentioned, i'd probably pick them up if they were cheap enough (and i used the wii shop channel)

If you haven't played this game in an arcade yet, i highly suggest you gtto your nearest arcades, hunt it out and jiggle with glee. This is the only game i ever played that made my hands go numb and tingly.... Please no jokes about me being able to pretend i was someone else then :P LOL

Woo hoo 2 more excuses in getting my wife to play games.
She got sick of shooting Capcom/Sega zombies. "What game did you get?" "Huh? Another zombie game?"
