I’m changing the rules for this mid-race. Seems the competition proved a little too tough for some of you. Read on to find out how you can now enter.
Sony are hosting an event in Sydney next week where a select group of Kotaku readers will get their hands on PS3 racer ModNation Racers – and enjoy some real life go-karting as well. You could be one of them.
ModNation Racers is the kart racing sim that lets you build your own track, mod your kart and design your own character. It even features Kratos, Nathan Drake, Ratchet & Clank and, er, their girlfriends.
Sony has TEN double passes (that’s ten winners plus a friend each) to give to the Kotaku community for next week’s ModNation Racers event. You’ll be whisked away to a top secret location to mod your own go kart and then take it out on the track for a test drive. Plus, you’ll also be able to play the full game and experience a lot more than is currently available in the public beta.
And, best of all, you’ll have the opporytunity to write up your impressions of the event and the game for publication on Kotaku!
First things first, you need to be over 16 years of age. And you need to be available the evening of Wednesday, April 28, and make your own way to Sydney’s CBD.
To be in the running to attend teh community event, we want you to nominate a driving song that best captures the spirit of ModNation Racers. Leave your entry in the comments below by midnight Sunday, April 25. The most creative, wittiest and cleverest entries will win. Multiple entries are ineligible.
