Assassin's Creed II Bundles Game With Downloadable Content

Assassin's Creed II, one of the games of 2009, is to be repackaged and resold as a "complete" edition, bundling the game along with its downloadable content, some of which is good, others, not so good.

The pack will include a copy of Assassin's Creed II, the Bonfire of the Vanities downloadable content, the Battle of Forli downloadable content and three Templar locations, which you could previously only get with the limited edition of the game.

It'll be out next month

This is exactly why I wait to buy so many of my games. As somebody who disagrees with the notion of paid DLC, I'd happily purchase a game when the 'full version' comes out. It'll be cheaper too.

^ This. Except sometimes I'm impatient and just buy the game anyway and ignore the DLC/full version.

As they say, 'good things come to those who wait'. This is now why I'm waiting on Alan Wake's superior version. The thing is, sometimes you just can't tell whether a better version will come out or not...

    Coming to PC?

The PC edition of AC2 comes with the DLC on the disc. The 'bonus maps' can also be downloaded for free (I think you have to request it from Ubisoft, they send you a code). So it's not really necessary to get it on PC, the 'standard edition' would be the same.

Ditto! Being strapped for cash most of the time occasionally has benefits...

    I'll get this I don't have Ac2 yet

    hells yeah
i was looking forward to this game seeing as i just bought my xbox recently and just got bored of the current titles i own
