First Look At Arkham Asylum's Action Figures

The first images of the recently-revealed Batman: Arkham Asylum action figures have dropped from a gargoyle and landed online, and if they're one thing, they're faithful to the source material.

And if they're two things, they're faithful to the source material and a poor quality black & white photo. Sorry! But that's what you get when you have to rely on a snap from what looks like an upcoming issue of comics trade solicitations rag Previews Magazine, rather than official shots, which DC is achingly late to ever provide.

Five figures will be available, those being Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Scarecrow and, surprisingly, Scarface. Guess Gordon, Bane and Killer Croc will have to wait for the inevitable series 2!

I might just have the worst memory ever, but I don't recall Scarface in B:AA at all? At best, just in one of the Riddles?

scarface was in a display cabinet in the wardens office. he was one of the riddles.

Scarface was in the last scarecrow level and was talking to Joker just before the final boss.

I vaguely remember him, possibly under scarecrows drug trips..
Batman i mean, not my trips personally.

Scarface? WTF? How about Killer Croc, or Poison Ivy or ANYBODY else!

Personally I am a big fan of Dr Freeze. Man I would LOVE to see a serious version of him.

Scarface was sitting on the Joker's lap in his in-game collectible virtual action figure thing, accessible via the main menu.

Scarface was probably included in the range so that when more figures are inevitably announced later on, they'll have more characters to play around with (pun intended). There'll probably be a minor character in each set -- like Frank Boles, a Titan, or Bane's teddybear, which will allow for more sets to be created.

I'm not usually one to invest in action figures, but at my new job everyone has toys all over their desk, so these look perfect!

The joys of working in the gaming industry.
