Take A Fly-By Tour Of World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm

With real humans stationed outside Blizzard HQ playtesting World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Cataclysm, it was only a matter of time until some decent footage made its way into the public eye.

These clips give you an unguided tour of two of Cataclysm's new additions, the Alliance stronghold of Stormwind and the Orcish Ogrimmar.

What the videos lack in the way of narration or on-screen units they more than make up for in thoroughness, exploring just about every nook and cranny available in both settlements.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Orgrimmar just got 5x larger O.o Garrosh has clearly outdone himself

This is absolutely nothing compared to Kezan, the Goblin city and I must say Blizzard has really outdone themselves with the new game world. Now I see where Blizzard was directing all their attention, not at the current game world.

Cataclysm from the looks of it is as big as TBC and WOTLK combined... however the games changed alot since the golden years of 2005-2006 .. just beacuse its bringing focus back on the characters of wow classic doesnt mean it will bring back what made it great.. the fact it was actually hard to get to the top!..what good is a massive world if you only use it leveling and spend the rest of your time using a matchmaking system to farm the same easy encounters over and over again.

I still can't believe that they've not made a console version. Imagine all the new customers they could get.

First up, holy hell orgrimmar, wtf, you're awesome now.

I really don't think they would get a lot of people. The game has such low requirements that basically anyone that wants to run it, can. A console version would also be harder to make gradual improvements on, and i can't imagine the xbox community tolerating weekly maintenance very well. For those that don't enjoy using keyboard and mouse, It would be way to hard to make it work properly on a console controller, so you'd still have to use a keyboard and mouse, and that would just be awkward.

See there we go again with alliance favoriteism

the new orgrimar .. throne room about 10 feet past the entrance

the new stormwind .. throne room 500 miles up the back

Horde stand verry little chance of storming past an entire city full of guards and players to kill the leader so unfair whine winge gripe etc etc .

Yet most servers still manage easily enough. The Horde get tougher objectives for a number of PvP based goals in the game, then the Alliance wonder why the Horde work together better.

I'm sure blizzard is going to make it so the entrance is VERY heavily guarded, in Orgrimmar. Not only that, but aren't we getting flying mounts? I doubt it matters where the throne room is if you can just fly right to it.
