Crysis 2 Beta Keys Go First To Site Registrants

The Crysis 2 community site is relaunching, and when it goes active, EA's promising that those who sign up first will be prioritised when it comes time to distribute beta keys for the game.

So in a nutshell that means watch a currently inactive website, register and hope, and by the way, no date on that Crysis 2 beta yet.

I agree. This is pretty flimsy. What we are seeing, folks, is the tide going out before a tsunami of news annihilates us beginning tomorrow. So if that isn't good enough, here's two other tips that just couldn't hold up a standalone.

• Eminem, through his Twitter, confirms his presence for Activision's event on Monday. I don't think he's appearing on behalf of Call of Duty: Black Ops. [via Ripten]

• If this were nationwide, it'd be big arse news, but it is only in Los Angeles at three Best Buy locations. If you can get yourself to one on Tuesday from 6-9pm, you may try out PlayStation Move for yourself. The locations are 10799 Washington Blvd, Culver City; Westfield Mall at 6000 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City; and 1501 N. Victory Place, Burbank. Be one of the first 125 at either location and get a coupon for a $US5 footlong from Subway. [PlayStation Blog]

The site seems to be up now. There is an age verification on the main page. Every time I enter information though I just get an error saying cookies are disabled. My cookies are enabled so I'm not sure, could still be down for a while.
