An Impressive Super Mario Bros Speed Run Made Spectacular

Genuine or tool-assisted, this speed run through the original Super Mario Bros for the NES is not astounding for its six-minute-long sprint through the Mushroom Kingdom. It's the presentation, faux projected on a concrete wall, that's so impressive.

German motion graphics designer and student "Surfap" is responsible for this creative, graffiti-covered video, a familiar jaunt from world 1-1 to 8-4 of Super Mario Bros made cooler with a little help from Adobe's After Effects software.

That is some damn impressive stuff right there - that kid looks like he could have a big future in advertising with that sort of application of graphic skills

I was thinking the same thing!

Looks amazing. Btw the non tool-assisted record is 5:00.

It's awesome, but the camera work was a little sketchy.
