First Screens Of Obsidian's Dungeon Siege 3

The other people's role-playing game sequelisers at Obsidian have released the first two screens from Dungeon Siege 3. Take a quick peek at what the series' console debut looks like.

Square Enix dropped word that Obsidian Entertainment, the developers behind Alpha Protocol, Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2, would be taking on the third game in the Dungeon Siege series last month, but the "screens" that accompanied the news were more concept art than anything representative of the game.

These two shots are what you'll be playing once the game hits the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. How's it looking to you folks?

Looks pretty good to me. I like the fact the character is brandishing a pretty realistic weapon (Scot Claymore for the win!) and armour that looks fantastical but also rather functional.

That little shark/goblin creature in the 2nd image looks awesome too.
