Raider Receiver's Madden Rating Is Sucking Wind, Too

Last week, Oakland white elephant wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey was revealed to have missed at least four straight practices because of "fatigue." His Madden NFL 11 rating has suffered accordingly - an 11 point stamina drop in the latest update.

Most of the adjustments in the latest update, free for download, range between 2 and 3 points in a single attribute, and 1 and 2 in the overall rating. Heyward-Bey plunged from an 88 in stamina to a 79.

I'm not sure what the in-game effect of that is, especially if your substitutions are handled automatically. But it's hilarious, and it shows that EA Sports is always watching.

There are tons more personnel changes in the latest roster file, which you can grab online now (it's not an automatic download.) Note that this is not the same as a patch; that one, when it arrives, will bring back the old-school pre-snap command keys. It's due by the beginning of the NFL season, which kicks off Thursday, Sept. 9.

    88 to 79 is a 9 point drop, not 11.

Hey guys, I need some help.

Can anyone who plays madden ps3 online confirm if their headsets work. My friends and I have tried to communicate when playing against each other online, but there seems to be no way to get the mics working. (And that's if we can even get a game together, it seems like the invite process and create session function is as broken as the headset feature.)

Google is no help, there are tons of people asking the same question for various iterations of Madden, and the only answer ever given is always 'pair the headsets to your ps3', which is obviously not the answer we're looking for.

There's nothing in the manual, our headsets work (we have started chats out of the madden menus, we are at our wits end.

Can anyone help with this, is it just an EA defect that they can't be bothered to fix? Any help will be much appreciated.

    Cheers
    Tom
