Scott Pilgrim Actor Talks World Of Warcraft Movie

Director Sam Raimi might only be in the nascent stages of the World of Warcraft movie, but that hasn't stopped folks from expressing interest in the film. Even Brandon Routh, who's appearing in the upcoming Scott Pilgrim movie, seems keen.

"I'm kind of a gamer," Routh recently told MTV. The actor, decked out in a World of Warcraft t-shirt, said he's fan of the game and its developer, Blizzard.

Routh pointed out that Raimi was of course helming the project, adding, "My friends over at Legendary [Pictures]are working on that [the film] ... So I'm looking forward to what's going to happen with that."

And would he like to appear in the WoW film? "You might get a little action — a little sword fighting — that would be a lot of fun."

Routh starred in the 2006 film Superman Returns and plays vegan guitarist Todd Ingram in this month's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

What a crock! A warcraft movie? Warcraft is just a shameless rip off of warhammer, how about a proper 40k live action movie instead? Blizzard taking ten years to take a dump, and diablo three in 2012...2014....2020...we like to bring you the best quality product we can...yeah yeah yeah. Expect the movie to be out in ten years if blizzard has anything to do with it.
