Watch Minecraft Dev Make An Entire Game In 48 Hours

Markus Persson is an indie game developer. He’s currently making Minecraft, but you may also know him from games such as Left 4K Dead and Infinite Mario Bros. Now watch him make a game in 48 hours.

Persson designed Metagun for indie game contest Ludum Dare, an accelerated game development event where designers make games from scratch in a weekend, based on a theme suggested by community.

We featured Metagun as our LunchTimeWaster on Monday. It’s a game where you have a gun that shoots people. By which I mean people, not bullets, are shot out of the gun. These people then starting shooting you – with bullets, not people – and it all gets very confusing. And it’s just as confusing to read those sentences again.

Persson recorded the entire process of making Metagun and you can watch it below in appropriately accelerated time.
