It’s crazy that I know exactly where this is from and who each colour represents. I love it!

Ryu, E Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Chun-Li, Zangief and Dhalsim
Still, I’m not a huge fan of minimalism….

Obviously street fighter characters! Can’t pick the second or last ones though…

This is weird but they look like streetfighter characters.
Ryu, Honda (Maybe) Blanka, Guile, Ken, Chun li but can’t see the rest. -

I’m open minded when it comes to art, but this is just stupid. All it is, is a couple of blocks of colour on top of each other. Could have been made in MS Paint.

I completely agree with you.
The sesame street fighter characters from awhile back were way more substantial than today’s offering.

People with no sense of what art is often say the same shit you did. Oh, anyone could have done this, could have done it in MS Paint! But, no-one else did do it, thats the point. This guy did.

Agreed. I did garbage like this when I was 10 and messing around with MS Paint. This is getting ridiculous.

nah, why critise something as minimilistic when it was obviously made to LOOK as minimilistic as possible?
the point is that as super simple as it is, your brain is still able to identify with it and see specific images related to each block.
art isnt always complicated.

Link would need to have an extra green line at the top to be consistent with the style.

The fact that most of you can figure out what it represents speaks volumes to the gaming culture and the icons that it represents. Minimalistic art for the #win.

It’s a front view of Street Fighter characters (Or side view, depending how you consider the perspective).

Nice!
Like it or not, the fact that you understand what you’re looking at with no extra cue’s means that what you’re looking as is communicating with you, and you understand it. 🙂

That’s really, really bizarre and a testament to how iconic Capcom’s characters are that we can identify them so easily.
