Aussie Nintendo Store: A Spot Of Breeding, Anyone?

You’re going to notice some holes in this week’s releases. No, it’s not one of those ‘pun’ in titles things but infact, actual holes in the releases. There’s no WiiWare this week and you’re missing out the first of the Go Series of games for DSiWare. Alright, so maybe you won’t be too cut up about those.

Virtual Console is back as promised.

Virtual Console

Samurai Shodown III (NeoGeo, 900 Points) – Going to be flat-out honest here, I’ve never played one of these games so I’m not the best person to say whether or not you should get this. However, what I can tell you is that Samurai Shodown III (pictured) was released in 1995 and while it is the third game in the series (no, really) it actually takes place between the first and second. There are 12 samurai to play as in this one.

DSiWare

Jazzy Billiards (Arc System Works, 500 Points) – A few weeks back we had Extreme Hangman. Now we’re back with another bluntly named game on DSiWare. It’s, of course, Jazzy Billiards. Not normal billiards which, like a hospital paint job bland and covered in filth, but billiards accompanied by the slow and sulky genre of music that is Jazz. If you say so! Jazzy Billiards has full touch screen controls for the ultimate cue control and multiplayer, but only if you want to share your DSi around.

My Farm (BIP Media, 200 Points) – Take care of your own farm and it’s animals in this ‘breeding simulation game’. That sounds all sorts of wrong. For only 200 points, you get a neat looking little game really, there is feeding and building your farm buildings up and there are six types of animals to raise. Not for everyone but cheap enough to test out.

Where’s Wally? Travel Pack 2 (Ludia, 500 Points) – Remember last week when that Where’s Wally title came out and it featured some of the famous puzzles. It even had some multiplayer action through in for good measure. Thought you had, because this week there is even more to download. It may sound like we’re having a dig here, but they work well, but now for 1000 points for both packs, you probably could have bought the book.

Anything for you this weekend?
