Mega Man Legends Headed To Nintendo 3DS

Osaka-based studio Capcom is already working on Super Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil for the Nintendo 3DS. That's not all.

The company has revealed that the Mega Man Legends 3 Project is in development for the Nintendo 3DS.

"We have wanted to create a new instalment in this series for a number of years," commented the title's Executive Producer, Keiji Inafune. "And it is great that we now have the opportunity to bring this title to the Nintendo 3DS."

Inafune's favourite game is apparently Mega Man Legends.

More details about the title are expected at the New York Comic-Con next month.

There's a small video with Inafune talking about the game.

What's interesting is how he talks about a new type of game development and developing with fan input, along with the page set up on Capcom-Unity.
I'm assuming they're going to be letting the fans have a lot of input on the development through that page.
Let's just hope they don't let the fans start shipping wars...

Please, please, please, make Megaman Legends 3 for 360 as well...

Well, talk about scratching an itch that's been bugging some people for over a decade. A lot of people considered the Legends games not very good, but they had their rabid fans, many of whom were PISSED AS HELL over the inconclusive ending of the second game. This is a hell of a smart move by Capcom.

      *Froths at the mouth*
