Real Farmer On FarmVille

FarmVille, the casual game sensation, has players manage a virtual farm. By "virtual", I mean "not real". A real farmer gives Beef Magazine this insight:

When I was in college, my roommates were addicted to [Farmville]and I admit I never understood why. To me, it was a far cry from reality. For example, you can own cattle, but you can't harvest them for meat. You can have them graze your pastures, but they are really for decoration for the ever-popular strawberry fields. Simply stated, it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Maybe all FarmVille farms are dairy farms? Not all farmers kill cows!

FarmVille was launched back in 2009. The real-time farm sim has over 60 million players. That's a lot!

Can I have my 30 seconds back please?

I have the same problem with Nintendogs.

Nintendogs is a far cry from reality because the dogs can't get cancer.

Also, the dogs fail to behave like real dogs: they don't show symptoms of having worms, you don't have to find out from the vet that they don't actually have worms but instead need their anal glands expressed, and you don't have to figure this out until you've spent countless dollars on ineffective worming tablets.

      Ripped off.
