Scott Pilgrim Comes Together In A Beautiful Package

November is shaping up to be the second coming of Mr Pilgrim. In addition to a DVD/Blu-ray release of Scott Pilgrim vs the World and updates to its game adaptation, the video game-infused comic book series is getting attractively boxed.

Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O'Malley revealed the pretty box set on his personal website, showing off a fancy slipcase crafted by pixel artist Paul Robertson - you know, the guy who designed the look of Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game? The box set, which naturally features issues 1 to 6 of the Oni Press comic, arrives November 3 in North America.

This is what the box set looks like [Radiomaru - Thanks The Ring Ding King!]

Hell yes, I've been waiting for this. Any known release date for Australia?

Damn. I already bought all 6 issues from Amazon a few months ago...

That artwork makes it look far more appealing than the hipster guy in the movie did...

    For Bluray:
Release date for Aus is probably the same as EU, 27th of Dec.
Although the US get it on Nov 7th, and its a universal bluray release so its probably gonna be region free (slight chance it may not be).

As for DVD i would assume it would be the same.

i'm really hoping that the US is region free, or the UK version is released at the same time at least.

    WANT!!

Scott Pilgrim AUS BLURAY & DVD RELEASE DATE: 15th December 2010. Unless things change otherwise ;)

They'd be stupid to leave it till after Christmas. It is going to sell like hotcakes, so it would be silly for them to wait any later.

I'd much prefer them to release the books in hardcover, personally. Maybe 3 big volumes?

    IT'S SOOOOOO PREEEEEEEEETTYYYYYYY
will definently be buying, since i scammed the books off my friend :P

Angus and Robertson has the box set down for 16th November.

I liked the movie. But that art style leaves a lot to be desired.
