The Force Unleashed II's New Trailer

With just a few weeks to go until Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II hits the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PC, you might be wondering what's up with Starkiller and his master, Darth Vader, these days.

Lots of complicated cloning problems, is what, a sensitive area which the new trailer for LucasArts' explores while also delivering plenty of over the top lightsaber action.

I love Lucasarts trailers. If there's one thing they know how to do, it's advertise.

This game's story looks EPIC... and I don't even care if the gameplay is crap. Day one purchase.

dual lightsaber throwing action! i can see myself now spamming that around almost all levels.
    indeed an awesome trailer.
i have yet to decide whether its a day one purchase for me though. *looks at sith edition*

Yeah that's putting me and alot of people off, I have that they did that.
Same as Super Street Fighter IV, rip off artists I refuse to cave!

Wow, the story looks absolutely awesome, and I'm glad to see some gameplay instead of a 'cinematic masterpiece' for everything. However, I am really disappointed that Lucasarts have ruined some of the bigger surprises and things that hark back to the original trilogy. Like the encounter with Yoda, Bobba Fett, and some battles with bosses (Darth Vader + yourself versus you) and something which could be a massive emotional point in the story, the cave on Dagobah, where Luke battled Darth Vader and found his head inside. Hoping some more surprises are in store.

Can anyone say 'Duncan Idaho'? Not saying the story arcs in Dune and the cloning in SW:FU:2 are the same, but that's the first thing that came to mind. xD

Looks badass. Lookin' forward to this. I have a few games I am buying over the next few months, I'm going to be broke and a shut-in. :-)

As much as I loved The Force Unleashed, this shameless retconning pisses me off. If he's as ridiculously powerful as he is in the game, he'd easily be the most powerful Jedi in existence. Yoda could barely haul a single X-wing, while he sinks an entire STAR DESTROYER.

And forget Luke/Anakin. Obviously Star Killer must be the most important character in existence. That guy's probably the most influential single character in the franchise. But dayum, I don't ever recall him even being mentioned once in passing in the movies. I always thought Yoda was alone on Dagobah for decades until Luke came around, apparently not!

    TLDR: Nerd Rage.
