It's something old, something new, something kiwi and something blue from game industry legend Yuji Naka, as two of his creations meet for the first time in this week's Nintendo Download.
Yuji Naka created Sonic the Hedgehog. More recently he created Ivy the Kiwi. Both of these creations appear in this week's Nintendo Download, albeit on two different platforms.
First off we have the long-awaited release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, blasting onto WiiWare this week at the speed of a very fast hedgehog. Fans complaining about the poor quality of Sonic's 3D titles now have a new 2D title to keep them occupied until Sonic Colors releases later this year and the bitching continues.
I'm not finger pointing here folks. I'm right there with them, bitching up a storm. Hopefully Colors is as good as Totilo seems to think it could be. We Sonic fans have very itchy bitchy trigger fingers.
Then we have Ivy the Kiwi, Naka's latest creation. In Ivy the Kiwi Mini, players guide the titular bird through more than 50 stages, stretching vines and keeping her safe as she searches for her lost mother.
That's two Yuji Naka creations for the price of... well, two. But they are small prices, so that's OK.
Check out those prices and more in today's Nintendo Download gallery!
