What Are You Playing This Weekend?

I'm pretty sure I have some twisted ability to predict my own fate. Last weekend I predicted that I would be stuck watching my wife play Critter Crunch and, lo and behold, I was correct. Although I sort of got stuck into the co-op mode for a while.

I also managed to get started with Super Meat Boy, which I'm now pretty much completely obsessed with. One surprising bit of gaming I got up to last weekend was a trip to a pretty awesome LAN centre near my house, which is always awesome, despite the fact that I have the mouse and keyboard skills of a gorilla wearing oven gloves. Not to worry!

This weekend is going to be dominated by me going to a wedding in Melbourne, so this weekend's prediction is this: my only gaming time this weekend will be beating my Doodle Jump record (182,000) under the table during all the boring speeches at the wedding.

But yes, enough about me – what will you guys be playing this weekend?

Finally getting some time off work (albeit on the Monday before Cup day) so we're heading down to Queenscliff/Portarlington for a little beach getaway. The downside - expected torrential rain tomorrow and cold weather most of the weekend. Saaad face.

Because of that, I suspect my gaming time will just be tonight. I'll play some Reach for the challenges/forge map creation, and I'll get stuck further into the RDR Undead Nightmare DLC. It's been a while since I hit RDR, but had a blast playing it last night. Having a zombie bear come out of nowhere and eat your horse is terrifying, especially when you've only got pistol ammo and a flaming torch. D:

Rock Band 3 all the way! My Keytar showed up from Amazon yesterday, so I'm gonna try to play some tunes :D

My keyboard controller arrived on Tuesday and I got the game yesterday, have days off next week - can't wait to play it!

Shithouse weather in Melbourne this weekend, so a fair bit of gaming may be on the cards. Fallout: New Vegas, Nier and maybe a bit of Undead Nightmare if I get a chance.

I'll be trying to finish off War For Cybertron before getting stuck into Dead Rising 2.

Also plan on picking up super meat boy - the demo was pretty awesome :)

I might be playing Heroes of Newerth, but my partner hates that game so if she is present i will likely be doing some tf2 or civilization 5 instead.

    Medal of Honor (MoH)
    Halo: Reach
    Fable III

I'll just be playing a bit of Minecraft occasionally as I study for exams.

I think I'll throw more hours into New Vegas, I'm really loving interactions with the different clans/gangs/groups. Maybe play some more Sonic (but probably not, New Vegas hooked me last night and I got 3 or 4 hours of sleep before work).

Otherwise I'll just try using 3DS Max again... it's been a while.

I do my best to stay isolated from the outside world!

    Puzzle Quest 2 and Machinarium.
Also considering grabbing Planescape Torment from GOG. That would definitely make my weekend awesome.

I'll be using the time to sink some serious hours into Fable 3, although I also want to fire up TF2 and join the halloween hilarity. Looks like it should be fun.
I might also throw in Mass Effect 2 after running a renegade through Mass Effect 1.

First thing I'll be doing is trying to finish off Assassins Creed 2 tonight. Then I have a tough decision to make. I have a shitload of games to play and I'm not sure which to start on. On the list are Fairy Tale Fights, Lost Odyssey, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, No More Heroes, ModNation Racers, 3d Dot Game Hero, Brutal Legend, Guitar Hero Metallica, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Split Second, Saints Row 2 and Gothic 4 :0

There might be more that I can't recall at the moment, but yer.. those are all as yet untouched with the exception of the first 5 mins of Gothic 4 cos I loaded it up just to see how it ran. Some might call it a list of shame, but I just haven't had time to play them yet as I like to try and concentrate on one game at a time! Any thoughts on which I should start with?

      In Venice.
      In Sequence 8.
Between memories one and two... where's Antonio?

I honestly don't remember.. I didn't have trouble finding him though. It could have been in that place where you originally met him with that chick who taught you how to jump/climb, but if I'm thinknig of the wrong spot, it might be that he's in the big ass building where you assassinate someone for him. :0 Real descriptive I know, but I can't recall names and shit atm.

        A quick search...

The thieves have settled into Emilio's old palazzo, so that's where you'll find the mission marker.

The building has a moat from memory, and you just took him out at the end of S7, you had to go in from up high and there were heaps of archers on the roofs around the area.

        The Palazzo Della Seta...

          Mate... I love you.
And in a way that's not healthy for either of us.

yer... that's the building I meant! They took up refuge in there after killing someone inside :0

MORE NEW VEGAS! Well, that, and I'll be switching around playing Fable 3, Ghost of Sparta and maybe some Smackdown VS Raw 2011 when I die in fallout and need a 30 minute break.

Fable III, had no time this week to get into it and it's starting to get interesting.

I have an absolute tonne of games to get through:

    DJ Hero 2
    Smackdown Vs Raw 2011
    Force Unleashed 2
    Bakugan: Defenders of the Core
    FallOut New Vegas
    PokePark: Pikachu Adventure

I finished Fable 3 on Tuesday, so atleast that's one less game I have to finish. Knowing me I won't play any of these over the weekend, and just play Modern Warfare 2 and World of Warcraft instead :S

Playing Halo Wars on the X360 and Final Fantasy VII on the PSP.

Gardening as well. Yes it's not a game but surely its more fun and rewarding than Gardening Mama et al.

Not really sure what will happen, but the following two are the highest on the list...

Fallout : New Vegas - I'm already over 10hrs in and just made the Mojave Outpost from Primm... I think at this rate I can't see myself finishing the game anytime soon! Love it!

Dead Rising 2 - Got sidetracked by flying through Medal of Honor and haven't gone back to it yet, only on Day 2 still...

    DJ Hero 2
    RDR: Undead Nightmare

Depending on how much you like your wife ;) Critter Crunch has a pretty awesome local co-op mode.

fallout NV like crazy. I have put in about 15 hours so far adn am about level 11/12. I made it to the outskirts of the strip but have not found my way in yet. Just love this game so much and as others have said, the factions interaction is cool.

I have managed not to piss anyone off yet so going around largely under the radar and have 2 companions so they do most of the fighting...

I have Minecraft, all three DLC's for RDR and super meat boy to also get to, but don't see me touching any of these until i have completed NV. and my issue with fallout is that i am a total completionist. I have 72/72 achievements for Fallout3 and I plan on getting the same here... many hours ahead!

    Fallout all the way :D

Might give Fable 3 a shot, but i'm finding it difficult to take Vegas out of the machine. Plus I want to give RDR Undead a go too... and Arcania, Rockband 3, DJ Hero 2, MMA and Borderlands! lol

All the talk about Diablo III coming out of Blizzcon sees me playing Torchlight tonight I think. Or possibly even reinstalling DII.

i can't play anything im doing VCE at the moment :(

      Amen, brother...
