While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping was a well-received romantic comedy starring the luminous Sandra Bullock and the irrepressible Bill Pullman.

It’s also the name of a new section here at Kotaku, where we round up all the best news coming in overnight, to save you trawling down the page for an excuse to not start work. Don’t say we’re not good to you!

Man, it’s been a busy night for Kotaku, so we’ll go through this quickly.

We loved Scribblenauts, so we were pretty chuffed to hear that 5th Cell isstarting work on an Xbox LIVE Arcade title. Stephen Totilo has an extensive hands-on with the 3DS and tones down the hyperbole with a sobre reflection on the triumphs and possible mistakes in early 3DS titles.

But wait! There’s more!

Minecraft is currently under siege by angry addicts demanding more updates, celebrity developers celebrate Mario’s 25th anniversary, we look at how video game discs are made and, finally, there’s a large gamer demonstration planned to rail against the landmark Schwarzenegger v Entertainment Merchants Association and Entertainment Software Association case.

Of course it’s unlikely that any of us in Australia could possibly attend, but it’s such a huge case for gaming that we thought we’d bring your attention to it.
