The Best Wu-Tang Clan Song Is Coming To Def Jam Rapstar

C.R.E.A.M. is not the best Wu-Tang Clan song. Can we agree on this? The best is Protect Ya Neck, which is part of a Wu-Tang Clan downloadable song pack some of you can rap to today.

Protect Ya Neck is one of four songs from members of the famous East Coast hip-hop crew being added - for pay - to this season's rap karaoke game Def Jam Rapstar. C.R.E.A.M. is already available on the disc

The pack consists of Ghostface Killah's Cherchez LaGhost, Method Man and Redman's How High, Raekwon's Ice Cream and the whole Wu-Tang Clan's Protect Ya Neck. The four-song bundle costs 560 Microsoft points or $US7. Songs are sold separately for 160 points or $US2. The Wu-Tang pack will be coming to the PlayStation 3 for download as well by Thanksgiving, according to a spokesperson for the game. The Wii version of Rapstar does not support downloadable content.

The Def Jam folks are also selling two new freestyle beats for the game, but downloadable through the Xbox 360. There is one each from producers 9th Wonder and DJ Premier.

Everything I hear about this makes the hip hop groupie in me want it even more. I love some WU and protect ya neck was fantastic.

Here is a sample of what to expet:

This goes on in some companies/
With majors they're scared to death to pump these/
First of all, who's your A&R/
A mountain climber who plays an electric guitar/
But he don't know the meaning of dope/
When he's looking for a suit and tie rap/
    that's cleaner than a bar of soap/
And I'm the dirtiest thing in sight/
Matter of fact bring out the girls and let's have a mud fight.

Flowing like Christ when I speaks the gospel/
Stroll with the holy roll then attack the globe with the Ruckus/
style, the ruckus, ten times ten men committing mad sin/
Turn the other cheek and I'll break your f**king chin.

Also RIP Ol Dirty. I seriously hate how so many talented artists pass away at a young age. ODB (the one who's lines are heavilty edited) passed away a few years ago now in his mid thirties and it was such a shame because he was the funniest and craziest one of the bunch.

Just seeing him again made me think of that.. Im off now to listed to Cuttin' Headz...

Brooklyn Zoo is one song I could listen to over and over again and never get bored.

If brooklyn zoo was on this i'd buy it straight away. You can often see me rolling up at the traffic lights in my toyota corolla screaming loudly over my speakers and out the window at passers by, shame on you when you step through to the ol dirty bastard brooklyyyyn zooo! By the way I probably rate triumph over protect ya neck.

Oh sooo good to see others feel the same way as me. Im listening to Brooklyn zoo now!

"Rhyme good as a tasty cake mix"

... and triumph was the one with the expensive filmclip of Forever. Good but for me, it was actually RZA, (moer specifically Rzarector) from gravediggaz was was my all time fav...

Oh how good 1990's hip hop was! we were so spoilt for choice.

C.R.E.A.M is the best Wu Tang Clan song! Protect Ya Neck is up there, but it does not dethrone the king.

Anyone know when this is coming out in Oz? I can't wait to rip up da mic!

first things first man, ya f*ck with the worst ill be stickin pins in ya head like a f*ckin nurse
