While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping was a well-received romantic comedy starring the luminous Sandra Bullock and the irrepressible Bill Pullman.

It’s also the name of a regular section here at Kotaku, where we round up all the best news coming in overnight, to save you trawling down the page for an excuse to not start work. Don’t say we’re not good to you!

We fully expected the second coming first, or at the very least rapture, but believe it or not Gran Turismo 5 is coming out this week. Hilariously, however, Polyphony are going to make you wait one extra hour, with an epic 10GB install for the game. As many people have sagely pointed out in the comments, waiting an extra hour, after waiting for six years, probably won’t be too much of a deal breaker.

We suspected as much, but the figures still make hard viewing – the music games has been crashing and burning for the last couple of years. Rising from the ashes is Dance Central. Because it’s awesome.

Speaking of Dance Central, Kinect predictably bombs in Japan, Tony Hawk Shred bombs everywhere, but Activision are still intent of picking at its corpse, and Infinity Ward has been reconstructed.
