Butterbean Returns To The Ring In Fight Night Champion

Yesterday we saw Eric Esch - aka Butterbean - getting his flab knocked around in Fight Night Champion. He's one of 13 new boxers on a roster of 54 licensed personalities appearing in the game when it releases next year.

Here's the full card:

Butterbean once flattened Lennox Lewis in an exhibition in 1994 and, in one of only three bouts scheduled for more than four rounds that he ever fought, lost to a 52-year-old Larry Holmes in 2002. So you can recreate those fights here, if you'd like.

This isn't the first time Butterbean's appeared in an EA Sports video game. He was the cover star of 1995's Toughman Contest for the Sega Genesis and appeared in all of EA Sports' Knockout Kings series, which preceded Fight Night.
