This Week In Games

This week in games is easily the shortest I've ever written. But it does contain World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, so that kinda makes up for it.

The only thing left to debate is which game is more debilitatingly addictive? World of Warcraft or Bejeweled?

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm What is it? Possibly the most important WoW release since the actual game itself. Should you care? Wave your family and friends goodbye. You won't be seeing them for a while.

Game Party In Motion What is it? A game party. In motion. Should you care? Oh, god no.

Bejeweled 3 What is it? Only one of the most popular 'casual' games in the known universe. Should you care? You will play this. You will love it. You will hate yourself for it.

WOOHOO!!!! Another week without buying games! :D

I don't love the Bejewelled games. For some reason I still play them though. And hate myself.

You should check out the Puzzle Quest games, they add an RPG-Adventure element to the tedious match-3 gameplay that the Bejeweled games present.

I can't help but wonder if there would actually be a need for a third installment of bejewled... I mean what could they possibly add to make the game an actual sequel...

...unless it was based on a Zombie-Nazi infestation where there only possible way of defeating them would be to match similarly colored jewels, creating an explosion of brain-seeking shards of raw diamondonium, thereby eliminating the zombie apocalypse...

      I'd buy that.

I don't actually like Bejeweled. Or Peggle.

Sadly, they still get me with Zuma =/

To add to this list, Allods Online and Lord of the Rings Online are FREE to play - just download and install and you get a huge MMO world with thousands of players.

Allods is ideal if you like the WOW style gameplay, but also prefer PvP, while LOTRO is more adventurous, with a strong PvE story/questing - its a bit dated in terms of graphics, but it will surprise you often (reflections in water, fully 3D explore-able Middle Earth).

And are both of these obviously awesome (sarcasm) games coming out this week? Because if so I don't see why they should be added to this list.

        unless so*

LOTR Online has been out for a fair while now...

Umm... you forgot Nickelodeon Fit for Wii...
