Watch The Best SFIV Players Face Off At Shadowloo Showdown

When it comes to fighting games like Street Fighter IV, Australia has a great, burgeoning competitive scene and the announcement of Shadowloo Showdown is testament to this fact. Taking place this weekend, top Japanese players Mago (2D God) and Tokido (Murderface) will join Gamerbee from Taiwan in facing off against the best that Australia has to offer.

Taking place on December 11 and 12 at the Rydges Hotel on Exhibition Street, Melbourne, Shadowloo Showdown will be streamed live to thousands and feature the most competitive players in the country.

In addition to the 1v1 tournaments, there will also be a Sydney vs Melbourne competition, which should be interesting! And by interesting I mean I hope no-one gets killed, or maimed. Or has their eyeballs gouged out.

Street Fighter IV, Tekken 6: BR, Virtua Fighter 5, Street Fighter III: Third Strike and newcomer BlazBlue Continuum Shift will all feature at some point. If you are a fan of any of these games we recommend going along to check out the best that Australia has to offer.
