Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy Sounds Jigglier Than The Original

Did you find the first Dissidia: Final Fantasy lacking in the jiggling cleavage you demand of your fighting games? Good news: the sequel to Square Enix's Final Fantasy all-star fighter has fleshy fan service in spades!

The official ESRB rating for the PSP game, Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy, warns of more "suggestive themes" than the original, including "revealing outfits that expose large amounts of cleavage" and a boost in physics ("characters' breasts also jiggle during combat"). Perhaps the most interesting warning in the description of Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy is this "suggestive" text.

"Here's a better idea: 'Zoom camera into Tifa's cleavage!'" the game apparently instructs.

Here is the description in full, if you're worried/excited about the Teen-rated content in Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy:

This is an action game in which players compete in one-on-one battles with characters from the Final Fantasy universe. Players engage in hand-to-hand combat in 3D arenas and use axes, swords, boomerangs, and magic spells (e.g., energy balls, summoned creatures) to drain opponents' life meters. Battles are highlighted by cries of pain, colorful explosions, and slow-motion sequences that zoom in on defeated characters. A handful of female characters wear revealing outfits that expose large amounts of cleavage; some of these characters' breasts also jiggle during combat. Some in-game text in also contains suggestive material (e.g., "Here's a better idea: 'Zoom camera into Tifa's cleavage!'"). Various portrait galleries depict partially nude female characters; the general shapes of their bodies are displayed instead of actual detail (i.e., no nipples or genitalia). The words "a*s," "damn," and "hell" appear in the dialogue.

    Well... That's a step backwards aint it? Dammit Square you are not making games in the 90's anymore. grow the fuck up!

    "A handful of female characters wear revealing outfits that expose large amounts of cleavage; some of these characters’ breasts also jiggle during combat."

    I can't wait to see Vaan's rack-physics.

      Vaan actually made me stop playing Final Fantasy XII. True story.

        The urban myth is that Basch (spelling?) was actually meant to be the main character, which makes a hell of a lot of sense, as Vaan was just along for the ride. He had no personality, no backstory, looked like shit and was about as interesting as watching "Manos: Hands of Fate".

        Basch? Looks awesome, had an interesting backstory, had a beard, was actually a man, and could have been a good character which someone could get emotionally invested to if he was given more time on screen. But they went with Vaan.

        What happened, Square? You used to be awesome. *sigh*

          Also, Vaan made me give up on Final Fantasy as a series, True story.

          FF7 = Awesome, hasn't aged well, but is fun.
          FF8 = http://squallsdead.com/
          FF9 = Retro-trip which was lighthearted and goofy. Quina was a mistake.
          FF12 = Vaan? That's it, f#ck this sh!t. I'm out.
          FF14 = I gotta see how bad this i- OHMYGHOOOODD. Returning this for a refund. Endured through 1 and a half discs before trading it in for store credit, which I bought Skate 3 with.

            Sorry, FF13. 14 is the MMO which I won't be touching.

            Kinda sad, as during my teenage years I was the biggest final fantasy fanboy ever. Now I'm a cynical 25 year old who grew a beard when he got manically depressed after FF10, and had it become sentient.

          Han Solo was way cooler and more interesting than Luke Skywalker (and to be honest, Vaan/Basch are just these characters' clones) but it didn't stop him being the protagonist in the saga.

          Luke/Vaan are just there as plot devices, guys caught up in the middle of the storm so we can see what's going on through their eyes.

        Same here actually. If he at least put a damn shirt on I would've eventually gotten around to finishing that game.

    I just hope that they can make this one a good game. Really, anything would be better than that thing they made before.

    Honestly, I love me some final fantasy, but these games have nothing for me.
