Here Are Japan's 3DS Launch Titles

These eight launch titles, in Japan, for the Nintendo 3DS were revealed today at the Nintendo World spectacular. All will be available Feb. 26.

The lineup, and price (in yen).

Nintendogs & Cats ¥4,800

Winning Eleven Soccer 3D ¥5,800

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition ¥4,800

Samurai Warriors: Chronicle ¥6,090

Puzzle Bobble 3D ¥4,980

Ridge Racer 3D ¥6,090

Battle of the Giants: Dinosaurs 3D ¥5,040

Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle ¥5,980

Roughly speaking, half of these titles (the more expensive ones) are priced around a regular DS game, half at that of a PSP game, in Japan.

I hope the launch titles are a bit different when it comes to Australia. I can't wait to get a 3DS but I won't buy one until there is a game I want. (Prof. Layton is alright, but I wouldn't buy a console for it).

I was so keen to get a 3DS at launch, but those titles are a pretty poor effort. Samurai Warriors: Chronicle is the only one I'd even consider.

Great support from Nintendo with one title there.....

only game i'd consider is street fighter and even then that's pushing it, bring on Ocarina!

The Dynamic View mode sounds interesting, at least Capcom have tried to use the 3D capabilities to try something different. And it's SSFIV on the go! I'd kill for some Street Fighter time while waiting for the bus or train.

uhmmm it's available on iOS as well

        Have fun without buttons haha.

    RIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACER!
