LunchTimeWaster: Paper Aeroplane

Making paper aeroplanes was awesome, and Flight is a game that plays on that. Except it let’s you attach rockets and rudder controls.

In a lot of ways Flight is the perfect LunchTimeWaster – compulsive, simple, but deceptively deep. It’s a lot like Shopping Cart Hero – if you’ve ever played that – a game that builds through repetition and the act of slowly upgrading your plane. It has that ‘one more go’ thing going for it, and mechanics your Grandma could understand.

It’s hardly innovative – this game style hasn’t really changed since Daley Thomson’s Decathalon on the Commodore 64 – but it is fun. And it’s less frustrating than QWOP! So it’s got to be worth a try!
