Tell Us Dammit

Dammit we want you to tell us stuff - like what are your New Year's Resolutions

This isn’t some marketing survey or whatever. It’s an emotional investment in you. Yes, we’re interested in knowing you, Kotaku reader person. You probably know enough about us – more than you even want to, we’re sure. But, hey, we’d like to know about you, too.

I have a number of Resolutions. To become the world's best rock climber, to become Hokage and have everyone acknowledge me, but I want to know what your New Year's Resolution. Tell me!

    new years resolution..

seriously though.. not a resolution as such, but my goal for the year is to build up a client base big enough to work for myself!

      LOL <3

I hate widescreen. It's good for movies and that stuff, but nice desktop wallpapers almost never come in 1600x1200 :(

    New Year Resolution: Be Awesome.

    Resolution ACHIEVED!

      This reminds me of...

      (starts singing)

      "Mysterious hooded man watches
      (from a distance),
Take a second to look awesome.
      Time to go.
      Walk in slow-motion,
      so you still look awesome.
      Guard just saw you,
      and he's gonna shot you.
      But don't mind him,
      just keep looking awesome.
That shadow will take care of him.
      Guard says "stop",
just kill him with your awesome.
The other got hit by an arrow
      so you're good..."

I came into the "next gen consoles" a bit late (as in last month). Catch up time! So these are the older/existing titles that I will PLAY and FINISH during 2011, ignoring all upcoming releases:

    Halo: ODST then Reach.
    Alan Wake,
    Mass Effect 1 and 2,
    Fable 2,
    Gears of War 2,
    Uncharted 1 and 2,
    Metal Gear Solid 4,
    God of War 3,
    Heavy Rain,
    Demon's Souls,

I better get started!!! ...oh wait, time to work :/

Gaming backlog, it's FULL of obscure and difficult JRPGs. Gonna be a nightmare.

Mine, sadly enough, is to game less. I buy way too many titles out of idle curiosity, and I'll be cutting that waay down.

For 2011, or until the finance and time pressures ease up, it'll be AAA or nothing.

Didn't really make one - but if i had to say, it would be to reach my fitness goal..

...and play the shiz out of the mass effect games :P

You mean New Years Resolve. A resolution assumes that you have achieved your resolve.

Oh, and I'm totally going to finish making that XNA game that I've shelved multiple times.

Not so much a resolution, as a lost of goals for the year to enrich my life.

    1)Get married to my fiancée
2)Dine at a Michelin star restaurant
    3)See a theatrical play
    4)Learn French
5)Have a ride in a hot air balloon

There's like...10 other goals, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

To game MORE. Last year I turned into the /v/ guy who always talks about games but never plays any. And to save more! I have no idea where all my money went!

I stopped going on /a/ and /v/ because I started browsing about them more than playing/watching. Now I never talk about the stuff and instead I get on with it.

New Year's resolution implies imperfection. I am perfect so I don't have one.

Stop not doing things. There's far too many things I've thought about doing but never acted on. First on the list is telling a certain female of interest about said interest. Regardless of the outcome :P

    Dispense with wardrobes!

Pass all my subjects with satisfactory grades and get a permanent part-time job.

Hope can still spare time for gaming. And if I earn enough, get my own Xbox OR a gaming PC.

    Being an agressive money saver..
