Watch This Shower Scene, And Somebody Else Might Find Out

Survival horror game The 3rd Birthday is heavy on fan service (tentacle anyone?). For example, there’s an unlockable shower scene. And if you watch that, Square Enix just might know it.

The Tokyo-based game is using the game’s data logs and Square Enix Members connectivity to track how many times players have viewed the shower scene. According to an official release from Square Enix, it’s been viewed over 80,000 times. Adding those who’ve found the scene online and those who haven’t sent their data over to Square Enix, the actual number is probably much higher. Much higher.

Heroine Aya Brea, who’s pushing forty, can be dressed up in embarrassing outfits or ripped clothes.

For those interested in unlocking the shower scene, this is apparently a walk-through. Just remember, Square Enix is watching you, and you’re watching Aya Brea.

  • What is this trend of game designers becoming voyeurs? Reminds me of the Mass Effect games monitoring us. Now they’re watching us watching her in the shower.. dammit I can’t decide which of us is the bigger pervert! 😉

  • Japan and Square need to grow the heck up, this is ridiculous five year old type of crap, fan service for the sake of it, and blatant as heck.

Just further my thoughts on the overall naivety of a lot of Japanese people towards sex.

Does every woman have to have perfect hair, at all times, even at close to 40 look like a silly teenage girl, and sigh, moan and express sexual stereotypes on a constant basis?

Only people who find this kind of thing sexy are people who havent had sex, or havent had sex for a very long time.

    • Why do you think the love pillow market is a distinctly Japanese phenomenon? Well one factor would be the general nerdiness of many males

Another would be the creepily infantile depiction of girls in their media who all look 12 years old with impossibly large eyes, stick figures, huge breasts and outlandish hair.

So yeah. No wonder people grow up thinking real life women don’t live up to their impossible anime expectations.

  • ya know if she actually looked like she was pushing 40 I’d be more interested in this game. How many games have protagonists over the age of 25?
