Nothing Says Dead Space Like Papier-Mâché Knee Pads

Some game character costumes are easy. Link, for example. A pair of tights, a green top and a hat and you’re set. Dead Space’s Isaac CLarke, however, is about as complex as they come.

His engineering suit is nothing but a sea of sharp points and angles, while most surfaces not jutting out at 90-degrees have some kind of lighting beneath them. That makes building an Isaac Clarke costume hard work.

That hasn’t stopped cosplayer Neon Invader from putting together this impressive Dead Space suit, made doubly so because he’s not using fancy gear like fibreglass. It’s nearly all papier-mâché, as though it were the world’s bloodiest school science project.
