While You Were Sleeping

Sleeping can be fun - necessary even. But what if stuff happens when you're sleeping - game stuff? What are you supposed to to do then? Thankfully we have a solution - While You Were Sleeping, a quick round up of all the news that happened… while you were sleeping.

The Uncharted movie is in a strange place - in the hands of an admittedly talented Director, but a Director who truly doesn't seem to understand the property he's working on whatsoever. He continues to discuss his vision for the in-development Uncharted movie here, and it sounds like a cool idea for a movie. Just not an Uncharted movie.

DC Universe has had some issues, especially in Australia, but it still seems to have had a decent pick up rate globally. Sony are reporting that the audience is pretty much a perfect split between PS3 and PC. Interesting.

Activision Blizzard dropped the Guitar Hero franchise yesterday - they also lost an case with precedent that trails all the way back to ancient Europe. Here are some pearls of wisdom from Final Fantasy's iconic illustrator, and this is Nintendo's trinity of classic beauties.

Did I miss the Australian 3DS pricing announcement, or did it not happen?

Also, whilst Australians were sleeping and I was insomniaising, I decided to cruise the US Kotaku site. Is it broken, or is it just unbelievably anti-user friendly. I could only really see one story at a time and it was a nightmare to try and navigate.

I hope it was just actually having a problem, and that it isn't the future direction of the Australian site. I love being able to scroll down the list of news here.

Yeah, I hate it, its all over the place. Although there is a tab up the top to switch to 'classic' layout, its the side bar that annoys me, just looks...out of place/stupid. AU kotaku layout is much better/cleaner - hope they don't change it (although comment edit button would be nice).
