Getting Prettier DS Games On The 3DS Means Shrinkage

What you trade for beauty, you lose in size. The Nintendo 3DS is able to play Nintendo DS games, but some gamers are complaining that the games are not as sharp as they can be. No worries, there's a fix.

By simply pressing "Start" and "Select" while booting up a DS game, players can get the title running at a clearer resolution. Better resolution comes at a price, however: shrinkage.

Nintendo DS games already look better on the 3DS, but if you want them to look even *better* (i.e. sharper), then by all means, shrink away.

    Well that's unnecessarily cryptic

But then if you play something that uses the empty space between screens as part of the playfield, eg Metroid Prime pinball, shrinking the screen makes the gap proportionally larger. Hrm.

Dammit, I never thought of that. Shit.
