PlayStation Emulator Yanked From Android Store — Foreshadowing PS Phone’s Release?

ZodTTD’s PlayStation emulator is on the Android store. The soon-to-be-released PlayStation Phone is an Android device. Can you guess the punchline here?

Available for nearly six months, now PSX4Droid has been judged by Google to have a “content violation,” and poof, off it goes. ZodTTD, via Twitter, said he’d been working like hell on an update for the app, and its removal effectively means its end.

“Sony’s Xperia Play must be coming soon,” ZodTTD writes.

Pocket Gamer notes that a rival emulator, fpse, remains available.
