While You Were Sleeping

Sleeping can be fun - necessary even. But what if stuff happens when you're sleeping - game stuff? What are you supposed to to do then? Thankfully we have a solution - While You Were Sleeping, a quick round up of all the news that happened… while you were sleeping.

Yesterday we posted a pretty lengthy and in-depth feature on Batman: Arkham City, and the game looks incredible. One of the best parts of Arkham Asylum were the Riddler challenges - but now we've gotten word that the Riddler will feature far more heavily in the new game

It's a shame, but we may have to chalk up Homefront as one of the first major disappointments of 2011. The universe has a lot of promise, but the mechanics simply don't match up. Shame.

Battlefield 3 hits snipers right where it hurts, Mortal Kombat's fatalities are bloody as hell, and the large Hadron collider may be a time machine!

Ahoy-hoy there old sport, let it be said, let it
be known, another fine While You Were
    Sleeping adventure.
I did so enjoy reading the Batman story before
    sunset upon the yesterday. Splendid.
Of course, this time travel does make me
curious, shall we say: for reasons of my own.
Okay, I can tell you, but don't tell anyone else.
The truth is, I once traversed, transcended if you
will, into a tangent universe, an alternate
space-time continuum. It happened near the
river, not to far from the derelict cinema, near the
city limits. I was walking there upon the 12
accursed chimes of the witching hour; it was
something i care not to revisit in morning light
and splendour of new day promise.
Of course, it has been said, the past and future are
but abstract concepts in the dreams of sailors upon
    seas of change & strife.
it has much to do with reality with a value of nothing
more than faulty, misfiring perception; things are but
as we see them and we see them through filters of
our own - or some such thing.
Time travel is a dangerous beast, every bit untamed
and, by all accounts, untameable, so to speak.
I guess the moment, right now, as it were, is all we
    ever really have, old friend.
    Keep up the good work
    Love as always,
    Plainview.

I bet you don't even need glasses to make your TV 3D ;)
