Brink's Special Abilities Make Your Character Even More Special

Now that we've gotten to know Brink's Medic, Soldier, Engineer and Operative, let's take a look the special abilities each class can unlock as they progress to make the game feel even more like Team Fortress 2.

Brink is a team-based first-person shooter with a slightly exaggerated cartoony vibe and class-based multiplayer progression, so the comparisons to Valve's Team Fortress 2 are unavoidable. Brink goes far beyond Valve's tightly focused TF2, however, offering tons of customisation, objective-based free roaming, and plenty of content for the player that would rather just go it alone.

Brink hits the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on May 17.

    I want this game, yesterday!!

So we can change more than just hats!

This looks really cool, but I can't help but think that with all the customisation comes a lot of need for balancing. I wonder if classes will have to be updated and nerfed throughout its lifetime

Why do you think it's been delayed a year? It's all the balancing n polish. It'll be fine when released.

fucks sake, not more last stand, final stand second chance whatever crap. Just stay dead when i put 12 bullets into your chest

Why would you ever want to pick the "Hack Turret" skill, when you could just pick the one that allows you to place a turret instead?

That's a silly question. If you hack an enemy turret, you can disrupt the enemy team at the same time as bolstering your own team, or remove a turret that's causing your team problems.

Because "Hack Turret" is the Operative skill where "Place Turret" is for the Engineer.

The recon/spec ops w/e it's called class has the "hack turret" ability, not the engineer.

Only the engineer can place a turret.
