Matt Smith returns as the 11th incarnation of the Doctor in tomorrow’s season premiere of Doctor Who, broadcast on BBC America at 9pm Eastern (11am AEST), and likely somewhere in the UK as well. Don’t forget your bow-tie and fez.

Argh! We (Australia) have to wait another week before it comes to ABC 1/2 (Saturday 30/4). I guess they wanted to finish the Series 5 rerun first… Or was it because of the Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey… stuff?

I’m actually quite a fan of Matt Smith’s doctor. Personality wise, he’s more likeable than David Tennant’s dual emotion range (1. Look at me! I’m a loveable cockney scamp! and 2. IM SUPER MAD NOW AND HAVE HUGE BULGING EYES), and more importantly, his companions are not super annoying. Cathrine Tate and Billie Piper in particularly made me want to murder someone.
Plus, Fezzes ARE cool

Hiatus? More of the show being on a break. Hiatus is generally if the show has been cancelled for a while much like when it was back in between 1985 and 1986.

Amusing that the image has NO IMAGE OF Matt “11” Smith. 😛
(You’d think the ABC and BBC would join forces to transfer data files between TV networks on the exact day to try to BEAT PIRACY. No? Oh well.)
