Chisel is a game about a man who is also a drill. If you’ve played the Mario Galaxy 2 levels where he, also, becomes a human drill, you’ll get a vibe for exactly how this game is played. You drill. You drill like you’ve never drilled before. And then you drill some more.
For some reason I really love this mechanic. I love the way it feels, I love having to judge the delay of the drill, I love the delayed feeling. I loved it in Mario Galaxy 2, and on a smaller scale it’s well implemented here.
I’m enjoying it so far. I don’t really understand the point of the game, to be perfectly honest – I just love digging!
