LittleBigPlanet is popular. The LEGO games are even more popular. And then we have Disney, the entertainment giant figuring it must be onto a good thing making a game combining the two.
It's unveiled a new multiplayer platformer called Disney Universe, which uses things like cute characters, a combination of co-operative and competitive play and highly adaptive difficulty levels to try and lure the entire family in.
Those things are where the LEGO similarities will be made. The LittleBigPlanet comparisons come from Disney Universe's visual style, which sees players assuming the role of squat little avatars which can be dressed up in Disney-themed outfits.
Some of the franchises we've seen so far include Tron, Monsters Inc, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Alice in Wonderland.
The game will be out this spring on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
