I think the portion of a screenshot is a good idea, as it will make it harder to guess.
That said, I have no freaking clue what this is.

That’d be the ‘backyard’ of Peach’s castle in Super Mario 64. I remember the rumour of Luigi’s name being written on the statue in the water feature there, spent ages trying to figure that out (spoilers: nothing came of it)

I never know these as I don’t know that many obscure games, however I will say the wall texture and water makes it look like the side entrance to Hyrule Castle in Ocarina of Time.

Err. The small fountain in the center of Peach’s castle in Super Mario 64 – This is also where the many Boo’s that roam the castle congregate to mess with you while you’re trying to figure out that carousel bit.

Looks like a N64 game from the textures. With that grey colour and water, I’m guessing Mario 64. Although those plants may indicate it is something else.

That texture looks like Peach’s or Zelda’s castle. So its either OOT, Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Kart. The trees seem more Mario like, so I’m inclined to think is SM64 or SMK.

That’s a tough one. I can see from the graphics that it’s definitely from the n64. >_> I’m thinking Mario 64. Yeah too many in my head but that’s my final guess. XD

What would be interesting is if you showed more during the day if people still haven’t worked it out. Just keep zooming out to show more.

As everyone has already stated – Mario64. I think for me it was the fuzzy image that gave it away. Only the N64 had AA processing that made even the simplest of scenes into a complete midsummer haze.

ok.. Mario 64. I’m a bit late. This is one of my all time favourite games (3DS version pleeease)!

Way too easy for the first one. No other game would have those spiky trees as Super Mario 64.
I can just imagine climbing on top of the trees, hanging upside-down, then jumping off hoping for a mushroom to appear. -

Without even looking at the comments – that’s got to be the rear cortyard in Mario 64 (where you access the Ghost House)
