   I’m a firm believer in the Sonic Cycle and it’s funny how often that “this time it will be different!” part comes up even when people mention the Sonic Cycle.

   Until it comes out and proves that it is as good as Sonic 2 or better (so Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic CD), I will assume that it is terrible.

   Thinking that way has saved me a lot of hassle.

   This is why I’m glad demos exist. Considering I almost bought Sonic 4 before playing the demo, makes me glad I can try this before getting it.

      You and me both. Funny, isn’t it? They’re hoping that a demo will make a sale, but demos have actually stopped me from buying the last 2 Sonic games when I was on the verge of doing so.

         I was so excited for Sonic 4, got the demo day it came out, then quickly erased it from my hard drive, it was so dissapointing.

   I dunno, Sonic Colors actually turned out to be pretty good. Maybe they’re finally listening?

      Not if you take the last one… Sonic 4 for example. That game was going to be the big ending of the story for me, but it sucked.

         Colors is more recent than Sonic 4 though. And Sonic 4 was at least a step in the right direction – just Sonic and not his crappy friends. What let it down was the wierd physics, especially the way Sonic’s momentum interacted with the controls. Had they gotten that right, it wouldn’t have been that bad at all.

   So do companies have to shell out both to get their game classified, AND to have a demo classified? Any wonder we’re the arse end of the gaming world.

   Wow, now I have hope again that this might break the sonic cycle. If not, however, I will likely find out if there is a demo and not after buying the game, either way,yay!

   How did Nintendo move Mario into 3D realms and back to 2D and make great games, and Sega constantly screwed up Sonic?

   New Mario Bros. Wii was Super Mario world, with new stages and things.

   Sega need to take Sonic 3 & Knuckles, tweak it and make me Sonic 5. Yes I want Tails to run with Sonic, I want a second person to be able to grab a second controller and play Tails. Heck a 3rd and 4th person should be able to join as Knuckles and Shadow. Since they should all be animated differently but control like Sonic.

   Tails should be able to fly, Knuckles Climb and to be honest I don’t know about Shadow. But it should fit, they should work together and they shouldn’t all bump into each other.

   I actually think Generations looks good and am pretty interested in it. I now fully expect it to suck.

   When did the “Sonic Cycle” start anyway? Was it when Sonic Heroes came about? I don’t really recall anyone saying Adventure 2 was rubbish (though I dislike the amount of Tails/Knuckles levels between Sonic levels).

   I still keep getting tempted to get Colors, though I really can never be bothered to use the Wii that much.

   In any case, I do hope Generations has a decent amount of levels, and the levels are actually a decent size to be explored.

   Hey, I think this may be fake.

   In Australia we use the date system dd/mm/yy and not the USA mm/dd/yy.

   This was classified on the 5th of June 2011.

      Could be an American website using mm/dd/yyyy but showing an Australian classification.

   to each their own i liked a lot of the sonic games including 2006 but Sonic free riders sucks ass i like the first 2 better cause i dont have to jump and spin around like an idiot to control them
