Deep Silver is a lovely little company, but when a game generates the sort of buzz Dead Island stirred up with its stunning trailer, the big guns need to be called in. That's why Techland's zombie holiday game is coming to the Americas via Square Enix.
A game with the hype buildup of Dead Island needs stellar marketing and massive distribution to make it a real success. Well, that and solid, compelling gameplay. Now that Deep Silver and Square Enix have teamed up to distribute and market the game in North and South America for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, I'm confident the game will have at least two out of those three things.
